Appraisals: Due to time constraints we are no longer able to fulfill the overwhelming number of appraisal requests we receive for FREE. If you want an appraisal, we would be happy to do the research for a $50 fee per bike. Please mail or email photo(s) together with any information you have on the bicycle(s), your email address (if any) and $50 per bike being appraised (make checks payable to Don Paquette c/o BikeIcons). If we are unsuccessful, we will gladly refund your money. If you mail your photo(s) and want them returned include a stamped, self-addressed envelope. When preparing a written appraisal of your bike's value, we carefully establish its condition then consider current market demand and review our large database of comparable sold bikes. All appraisals are our opinion ONLY based on our many years of classic antique vintage bicycle expertise and in no way guarantee the actual sale price of a bike.
Posting: Send us a picture, detailed description, price, your day and evening phone numbers, mailing address and a $50 posting fee per bike (make checks payable to Don Paquette c/o BikeIcons) and, at our sole discretion, we will post your classic bike here at BikeIcons until it sells for 20% of the sale proceeds for bikes worth $1000 or more and 25% for bikes less than $1000. If we decide NOT to post your bike for whatever reason we will, of course, refund your $50 posting fee. We get hundreds of people per day at our site from all over the world so you have an excellent chance of selling. We may even buy it ourselves if we like what we see. You as the seller are responsible for the satisfaction of the customer and the shipping which is paid by the buyer. We at BikeIcons are NOT responsible for either the item's performance or for any accident or injury incurred while using one of these posted bikes.
Pricing: Most prices on this page are asking prices and do NOT include shipping, handling and insurance costs. Offers are encouraged. To purchase a bike send us an email at ride@bikeicons.com or call us at the number in the Contact Information section below. Happy shopping!
Shipping: Most orders are sent USPS 3-Day Priority Mail. Larger items such as bikes will be sent UPS at the purchaser's expense. Be assured that we take every precaution in carefully packing all our items BUT are not responsible for lost or damaged items via shipping.
Terms: BikeIcons accepts checks, money orders and cashier's checks but sorry no COD's or credit cards YET. All payments must be in US funds. Please do not send cash. When sending checks please allow a 10-12 day wait for them to clear.
Returns: We do offer a money-back guarantee on all our sales if not completely satisfied but item MUST be returned within 10 days of receipt for a credit or refund. Please note that you will be charged a 30% prepaid restocking fee for each returned item. No returns on items that have been mounted or used in anyway.
Hold: Sale pending items will be placed on HOLD for 3 business days ONLY then taken down unless funds have been received or other special arrangements have been agreed to by both parties.
Rentals: Bicycle rentals are available for production companies doing commercials, movies or photography where antique bicycles are needed. We also rent our vintage classic bikes to museums or the like for display. If you're interested in antique or collectible bicycles, call or email BikeIcons, the bicycle specialists.

Coding/Dating: All bikes marked NFSY mean they are Not For Sale Yet! Stay tuned... Also on the bikes for which we are not sure of the exact year we have devised this code system following the year of the bike: 's' = sometime during the decade, 'e' = early part of the decade, 'm' = middle part of the decade and 'l' = last part of the decade. All bikes are 26" unless marked otherwise.
