1968 SCHWINN ORANGE KRATE BIKE, THE ORIGINAL MUSCLE BIKE. this is a one owner, all original orange krate. original brake system (not disc, disc came out in 1972) 5 speed with shifter, original tires with the orange ring, atom hub front wheel, original seat ( not on bike), serial number BD44680, which means that is was made in february 1968, very early model. razor edge fender, moon bars, which ralph nader took away in may of 1968. minor wear, chrome is excellent, no rust or pitting, rated by schwinn to be an 8 or 9 out of 10. all original parts, never been touched. this is a must have, a COLLECTORS DREAM. it comes with the original seat (not on bike) and the original book. this was the best seller and the most popular krate every made. don't miss this one!!!!!! very rare!!!!!
